Emily’s goal is not just symptom reduction, but helping clients feel more grounded, capable, and connected in their daily lives.

Emily brings depth, flexibility, and real-world insight to her work. She creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely heard and supported. Her approach is person-centered and strengths-based, empowering clients to build on what is already working while developing new coping skills and emotional regulation strategies. Emily specializes in working with ADD, ADHD, anxiety, behavioral issues, chronic illness and chronic pain, impulsive behavior, coping skills development, depression, grief and loss, infertility, life transitions, pregnancy, prenatal and postpartum concerns, trauma, PTSD, and first responders.

Emily integrates evidence-based modalities tailored to each client’s developmental and emotional needs, including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based approaches, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, Play Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Trauma-Focused interventions.

For children and adolescents, she incorporates developmentally appropriate play and expressive techniques to foster emotional growth and self-awareness. For adults, she blends practical skill-building with deeper processing work to promote lasting change. Clients often appreciate Emily’s calm presence, thoughtful insight, and collaborative style.

When she isn’t working, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors, painting, and being with her family.
