Emily Myers, LCSWA

Emily Myers is a licensed clinical social worker with a Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Psychological Sciences from Purdue University. She brings clinical expertise grounded in trauma-informed, inclusive care, and a deep belief in the power of connection and individualized support to foster healing and growth.

Emily provides affirming, client-centered therapy to children 10 and up, teens, and adults with a special focus on neurodivergent clients (including those with autism and ADHD), LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC individuals, and those navigating significant life transitions. She supports adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, identity exploration, family and relational challenges, and the lasting impacts of trauma.

Certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Emily also has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and trauma-informed care for children and families. Her approach blends evidence-based interventions with an eclectic, strengths-based style that honors each person’s unique experiences, values, and goals.

Emily’s work is grounded in humanistic and person-centered values. She strives to create inclusive, empowering therapeutic spaces that support clients in reconnecting with their inner resilience and developing tools for meaningful change.

Outside of her clinical work, Emily enjoys reading, painting, baking, and Pilates. On weekends, she finds joy in nature and recharging through connection and creativity with her partner, family, and friends.
