TELEHEALTH ONLY

Taylor is a compassionate and experienced mental health professional with over a decade of experience supporting teens and adults as they navigate emotional challenges, personal growth, and healing. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Mount Olive with a bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology and earned her master’s degree in School Counseling from Liberty University, graduating Magna Cum Laude.

Taylor is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHCA), a Certified School Counselor through the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction, and a Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor.

With 12 years of experience as a school counselor, Taylor brings a deep understanding of adolescent development alongside her work with adults. She supports clients facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, learning differences, oppositional behaviors (ODD), attachment issues, life transitions, stress, relationship challenges, eating disorders, and the lasting impact of childhood and adolescent experiences. She is especially passionate about helping teens and adults better understand patterns that influence emotions, behaviors, and relationships.

Her counseling approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and goal-oriented, grounded in Attachment Theory and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Taylor offers a structured yet supportive therapeutic space where clients feel safe to explore difficult experiences, build insight, and develop practical skills for meaningful and lasting change. Trauma-focused work is a growing area of emphasis in her practice.

Taylor welcomes teens and adults from all cultural backgrounds, identities, and family systems with warmth, inclusivity, and a nonjudgmental presence. She believes therapy is most effective when individuals feel truly seen, heard, and supported at their own pace.

Outside of her professional life, Taylor enjoys beach days, reading, cheering on her daughter at the ball field alongside her husband, and relaxing at home with her two cats, Willow and Winter. A homebody at heart, she believes healing often begins with connection, safety, and the comfort of being deeply understood.
