Healing begins with taking the first step—and for many people, that’s the hardest part. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey where clients discover their own strengths, create meaningful change, and become empowered to live more fulfilling lives. My role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and encouraged throughout your journey.

With more than 20 years of clinical experience, I provide counseling for children ages 4 and older, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and older adults. I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, ADHD, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, grief and loss, anger management, self-esteem, relationship and family conflict, parenting challenges, life transitions, and adjustment concerns. I also enjoy supporting individuals facing chronic illness, caregiver stress, infertility, pregnancy and postpartum changes, divorce, and school-related challenges. My approach is individualized, compassionate, and focused on helping each client develop effective coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build resilience.

I have a special passion for serving military members, veterans, first responders, and their families. I understand that these communities often face unique stressors and transitions, and I am committed to providing supportive, culturally informed care that honors those experiences. I also offer Christian counseling for clients who wish to incorporate their faith into the therapeutic process.

I believe that finding the right therapist is one of the most important parts of successful counseling. My goal is to help you gain a stronger sense of self, discover your inner strengths, and create meaningful, lasting change so you can reach your fullest potential.

When she’s not in the therapy office, Teshia can usually be found cheering on her family, traveling, enjoying a good book, sipping coffee, or finding creative ways to bring people together. She believes healing happens through genuine connection, honesty, and sometimes a little laughter.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing, growth, and greater well-being, Teshia would be honored to walk alongside you every step of the way.
